Ring & Punch Inspector

Scratches on the ring/punch carbide surface might produce some bad cans inside bodymaker and it is not acceptable for a production line,

It is not easy to spot some minor scratches on the carbide surface with eyes, therefore, a Ring & Punch Inspector is developed to help the tool room engineer to identify the scratches before we grind/polish the ring and punch.

Now the toolroom engineer can view the scratches on the carbide surface using microscope connected to computer. The toolroom engineer can also capture the screenshot of the bad surface and input on the tooling record/report to help the production line trace the tooling usage.
